MSX/GROM 6-HOLES LIGHT-BORE HP FUEL INJECTOR

This 6-holes Light Bore High Performance Fuel Injector looks exactly the same as your stock MSX125 fuel injector, but will make you feel the power increase right away once you have installed it on your stock 125cc MSX/GROM125, or in combination with the Yuminashi 150cc light bore cylinder kit.

This injector is a B-type injector which is plug & play to be installed on your stock MSX/GROM125. If you would like to install this B-Type injector in our A-Type 31mm manifold, then you need to order the MSX/GROM125 17560-K26-000B injector joint adaptor set which is a aluminum spacer with a B-Type injector joint.

If you install this injector in your bike, then keep in mind that your ECU must get used to it. Normally it will take 5 to 10Km until your computer will be auto-adjusted to the new injector.

*Keep also in mind that the genuine MSX/GROM air filter box is a serious restrictor which will make it almost impossible to make more as 8.000RPM's. If you install our Light bore fuel injector in combination with an original K&N filter or a stack on your genuine 25mm PGM-FI throttle body, then your engine will have no issue with breathing above the 8.000RPM's.

**You can use the Light Bore High Performance Fuel Injector on a full stock engine, but we recommend to change at least the 15T front sprocket in to a 14T front sprocket. Your engine will be able to make more RPM's with the new injector, but because the serious overdrive 4th gear on the stock engine (24/26 gear sprockets), you need to make at least your final drive combination lighter. Our maximum top speed with this setup in perfect conditions without any headwind on a full stock engine and a stock exhaust system was 117Km/h (8.750RPM) and 127Km/h (9.500RPM) with a special exhaust system.

Please notice that these results are impossible to gain with a normal straight-up driving position or with the slightest bit of wind because of the large 4th gear overdrive. 

If you install the light bore injector on the 150cc light bore in combination with our Tune-Up ECU Corrector, then keep in mind that the Tune-Up ECU Corrector will remove the genuine RPM cut.

Your bike will be able to make unlimited RPM's with the Tune-Up ECU Corrector installed and before you enter in the before unavailable +9.500RPM zone, then the first thing you need to install is a wide band Air/Fuel Ratio Gauge so that you can start to fine tune your engine in that +9.500RPM zone at 11.8:1 AFR to control your engine temperature and avoid your engine for overheating/detonating.

If you don't install a wide band AFR gauge, and start to play around with the Tune-Up ECU Corrector without knowing where you are or what you are doing concerning the AFR ratio, then this will end up with an overheated/detonated engine where you will see a piston that is scuffed at the "four corners".

If you look at the bottom side of a piston you see the piston pin boss. If you look across each pin boss it's solid aluminum with no flexibility. It expands directly into the cylinder wall. However, the skirt of a piston is relatively flexible. If it gets hot, it can deflect. The crown of the piston is actually slightly smaller in diameter on purpose so it doesn't contact the cylinder walls. So if the piston soaks up a lot of heat, because of detonation for instance, the piston expands and drives the piston structure into the cylinder wall causing it to scuff in four places directly across each boss. It's another dead give-a-way sign of detonation. Many times detonation damage is just limited to this.

What typically happens is that when detonation occurs the piston expands excessively, scurfs in the bore along those four spots and wipes material into the ring grooves. The rings seize so that they can't conform to the cylinder walls. Engine compression is lost and the engine either stops running, or you start getting blow-by past the rings where you see your swing arm and rear wheel/tyre covered all over with oil. That torches out an area. Then the engine quits.

So before you start to make some serious RPM's, install a wide band AFR meter en set your AFR at full throttle with the 5th screw at your right hand side at 11.8 AFR.

Start to set the pre ignition with the screw totally turned to the left side and build up with small steps until you feel that you are over the power point. If you have found a certain position with the screw that gives you the highest top speed, then don't go over this because you do will damage your engine. If you have an oil temperature meter installed, then this is also a perfect tool to use and to set your pre igntion. Don't allow your engine to raise above 100°C (212°F).

Don't go further with the pre ignition as this because the engine will not make more, but less power and you will damage the engine.

 MSX/GROM 8-HOLES  BIG-BORE HP FUEL INJECTOR

This High Performance Fuel Injector is mentioned to be used on the Big Bore kits from 160cc until 180CC.

These High Performance Fuel Injectors are looking exactly the same at first sight as your genuine MSX125/GROM injector, but have 2 extra nozzle holes compared to the stock injector which you need once you start to work with the larger, +150cc displacement Big-Bore cylinder kits.

These B-Type injectors don't fit in our A-Type PGM-FI 31mm manifold, but can be installed with our 17560-K26-000B adaptor set.

**This injector would fit in your stock MSX125, but is overkill on an engine less as 150cc...

**Make sure that you are checking your AFR ratio with a wide band O2 sensor. The narrow band sensor like the MSX125/GROM125 and all motorcycles basically have installed are useless to measure the accurate AFR ratio
